Monique Lee
Lead Pastor
Monique joined the team in 2020. She has been part of the MBC whānau for over 25 years and has been involved in many areas of church life over that time.
She is married to the wonderful Justin, and they are raising three boys, Sam, Zach and Quinn, and two cats.
Monique’s heart is to see the people of God in this church grow in their discipleship and live out their personal mission.She is passionate about community both in the church and in Manurewa. She is keen to see the church become an active member of the Manurewa community and to continue to learn what it is to be good Treaty Partners.
In her downtime, she loves to swim, construct Lego, hang at the beach, take photos, write, bake and crochet.

Dave Diack
Associate Pastor - Responsible for Children & Families
Dave has been part of the leadership team at Manurewa Baptist since 2009. He serves as the Children and Families pastor. Dave has also been a primary school teacher since 2000 including 7 years at Green Meadows intermediate and is currently teaching in 5 of our local primary schools bivocationaly. He has run adventure based programmes and camps for kids since 2005. Dave is married to his wife of 20 + years Emma and has 3 kids Lucy, Asher and Joshua. Dave loves Surfing and Trail running and Jesus.

Katie & Dan Cuttriss
Associate Pastors - responsible for Young People
Dan and Katie each serve as associate pastors, with a focus on youth ministry among other contributions to our church life. They’re both passionate about walking alongside young people, helping them discover who God has made them to be, and supporting them as they find their place among God's people.
While completing their training in applied theology and pastoral leadership, they joined the Manurewa team in 2022 and have continued to grow their roots here since graduating and being called into their pastoral roles in 2024. Originally proud Wellingtonians, they now live in Takaanini and love being part of South Auckland life.
Dan and Katie also lead the Intermission programme at Carey Baptist College, a discipleship programme for young adults. In their downtime, you’ll find them enjoying a good book, tv show or film – then chatting about them together at a cafe.

Lois Sheppard
Associate Pastor - Responsible for Seniors
Lois has served the MBC family for nigh on two decades. She has an incredible heart to serve the elderly and home bound, visiting many of our people every week in their houses, rest homes, and hospitals. She still preaches, runs a weekly bible study and seniors support group. You can also find her serving through practical means including toiling in our church gardens and tirelessly tiding up after others, She will always make time for a sit down and a chat, encouraging one with scripture and the wisdom that comes with walking with Jesus for many years. She also make the best Christmas fruit cake and shortbread!
